Children

Our goal is to see children grow up to KNOW JESUS, LOVE HIM and SERVE HIM! We believe that by partnering with the parents of 1BL we can come alongside your family and see that happen. When children are engaged creatively in God’s Word, when they know they are loved and cared for, and when the hear the people at church echoing the same values and principles they are hearing at home, then we believe growth will happen.

Since we only see your kids 1-2 hours per week, church should NEVER be boring and kids should always beg to come back. That is what keeps us awake at night… Dreaming of ways we can engage your kids, drive them into God’s Word and give you, as parents, the tools you need to keep you going strong as well.

Through Sunday School, KidStuf, Preppies, Kid U, camps and many special events, children at Lakewood see and feel , first hand, the love and care of Jesus, and learn that church is the best hour of their week!

Our Meetings

 
  Sunday School classes are available
  for children and adults Sundays at
  9am.



 
  Kidstuf is our worship service for the
  children at 1BL. We meet in the
  Children's Ministry Center, Sundays
  at 10:30 am. While parents are
  enjoying a service designed for them,
  so are our kids.

 
  Kid-U and Preppies is our Wednesday
  night meeting for children of all ages.
  We start at 6:30pm and have
  ministries for all ages.
