Drastically Less and Infinitely More

Letting Jesus Define our Faith

September 13th, 2009 - November 29th, 2009

If you've ever played the game "telephone" you know how information can get jumbled as it's passed from person to person. By the time it arrives at it's intended destination, the message can be distorted, diluted, and disorganized. Unfortunately the same thing can happen with Christianity as well. As the call of Jesus to be and make disciples gets passed from generation to generation it can get  bloated in certain places and decimated in others. In His most famous sermon, Christ patiently describes what life in the Kingdom of God looks like. As we listen to His definition of disciple, we'll see that it's actually drastically less and infinitely more than what we have traditionally made it out to be.
