Brian Nastase
Pastor of High School Ministries
Brian
grew up in North County San Diego, where he first started serving in youth
ministry as a Freshman in High School. He graduated from Biola University
in 2002, where he majored in Christian Education, with minors in Biblical
Studies, and Philosophy. He received a Master’s degree in Theology from
Talbot School of Theology in 2010.
Brian came to Lakewood in 2004, and has been serving in Student Ministries since then. He and his wife Lauren were married in 2009, and they enjoy serving together. Lauren received a BA in Intercultural Studies and an MA in Education from Biola University, and is a Social Studies teacher at Downey High School.
Brian loves working with students, and has tons of hobbies that he enjoys. He loves sports, and outdoor activities like camping, fishing, rock climbing, surfing, snow-boarding, etc. He loves all sorts of music, except country. He loves watching ESPN or catching a movie. Most of all though, He loves God with all his heart, mind and strength, and desires to impact the world for the Lord Jesus Christ.
