Although Kathy just recently joined the Lakewood staff in August 2008, she has attended this church the longest of anyone on staff! Kathy began her church experience here at Lakewood when she was a one year old! You do the math!
Kathy served for 30 years at California State University, Long Beach, as an Administrative Analyst/Specialist in the offices of the Athletic Director, several Vice Presidents, and the office of the Provost.
After retiring from CSULB, Kathy has begun a new career working at the church she loves as the Executive Assistant to Lead Pastor Brent Eldridge and Worship Pastor Jeff Zabel; thus, combining her gift of administration and her love for music and singing.
A few of her favorite things are spending lots of time with her children, grandchildren, and friends; interior decorating; singing; and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
Above all else, being directed and used by God, however He sees fit, is her greatest passion.
