Trent Lewis

Trent joined the team in 2008. He was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and started volunteering at church when he was in 4th grade. He continued to serve, eventually landing in student ministries while he was in college. He completed his undergraduate degree at Biola University and is a student at Haggard School of Theology working towards his M. Div. After 10 years of working with High School Students, Trent came to Lakewood to serve as the Middle School Pastor. In 2010, Trent took on the additional responsibility of leading our College Ministry.  He is passionate about students growing in their faith and seeing entire families become a part of the church.

He is always up for a trip to Disneyland or the Beach, reading a book in Starbucks, or sharing music and movies with friends. One of his favorite hobbies is doing improv. (It's not stand-up, it's like that TV show "Whose Line is it anyway?") He views all of these fun things as opportunities to love God and love people.
